It is 95 degrees on this mountain on this afternoon. Which happens to be a lot like it felt like two years ago on this day when Lucas & I got married and it was 96 degrees. It is pretty insane to think that two years ago we had no goats at all -only a dream of starting our own goat dairy. My oh my. 27 goats later. We sure are tired ones. But a picnic on the mountain is in store for tonight with the herd.
In addition to this heat what is really crazy is that Senator Leahy wrote a letter to President Obama in which he talks about Big Picture Farm! If you know us, you know we have been obsessed with Vermont since first moving here 12 years ago, but you also know that we are particularly obsessed with Vermont’s legislators. So this is the bees knees.
Everything about all of this.
